We are a young couple from Germany. Thanks to a semester abroad, we had the opportunity to live in Orange County, California for a while – and that place changed something within us. Between endless coastal roads, small cafés, sunsets by the sea, and the laid-back California lifestyle, we grew to love Orange County.

It was there that we also discovered our passion for surfing. Jiu-Jitsu and grappling had already been an integral part of our lives, but in California, we were able to combine both: hitting the surfboard in the morning, heading to the mats later on, and enjoying a coffee with an ocean view in between. That exact feeling is what gave rise to Wave & Roll. It was born from the freedom on the waves, the focus during training, and the people who bridge both worlds.

For us, it’s more than just a sport – it’s a lifestyle, a community, and a reminder to enjoy life consciously. With Wave & Roll, we want to share a piece of California with you – and bring that special feeling of sun, sea, movement, and freedom into your everyday life.
